Endeca Technologies, Inc., and hybris, a vendor of multi-channel commerce and communication software, announced Endeca Multichannel Commerce with hybris. The new release, the product of a partnership announced in late 2009, combines the hybris ecommerce platform and built-in product content management (PCM) system with Endeca's user experience and contextual marketing capabilities.

San Diego-based business software company Anacomp, Inc. sold its document review software, CaseLogistix, to Thomson Reuters for an undisclosed sum. CaseLogistix provides document review, data ingestion and production tools to help litigation teams manage the electronic discovery review process.

Chemidex, a specialized search engine for the fields of chemical and life science, as well as the world's largest repository of product technical literature for those industries, announced that it has changed its name to Innovadex. According to the newly renamed company, the move reflects its expansion into more diverse fields, including a majority of industrial, scientific, technical, and medical markets.

CABI announced a number of improvements to its CAB Direct reference service. In addition to the more than 8.8 million bibliographic records and 85,000 full-text articles available through the platform, users can now easily keep track of research with permanent marking of records, set aside up to 1000 records for additional examination and manipulation, and export citations and abstracts into tools such as RefWorks and EndNote.

Lijit Networks, a provider of search and discovery tools for online publishers, announced it has closed a $6,000,000 financing round led by Foundry Group. Also participating were Boulder Ventures and Colorado Fund I, managed by High Country Venture. The new investment brings the total venture capital investment in the company since its launch in 2006 to $17,000,000.

The unified search functionality allows users to search the entirety of the Zoho suite with a single search query, letting companies find content regardless of whether it resides in Zoho Mail, Docs, Writer, Sheet, Show, Notebook, or any of the other Zoho apps.
