Endeca is appointing Bob Zurek as its vice president of Endeca Latitude Product Strategy. Zurek, who joins the company from the position of CTO of open source data warehousing company InfoBright, is a frequent speaker at industry events and sits on the advisory board of several technology companies.

EContent's Michelle Manafy is taking a position as director of content for FreePint, where she will be responsible for strategic management and development of editorial resources. Manafy holds a BA in Journalism from San Francisco State University and most recently served as Editorial Director for Information Today's Enterprise Group and editor of EContent and Intranets magazines, and also chaired the Enterprise Search Summit and Buying & Selling eContent conferences. EContent associate editor Theresa Cramer will assume the role of interim editor for EContent and Intranets magazines as of December 31st.

Time, Inc. has named Randall Rothenberg as EVP and chief digital officer. Rothenberg most recently served as president and CEO of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, where he recently celebrated his fourth year. Prior to IAB, Rothenberg served as senior director of intellectual capital with Booz Allen Hamilton and authored the book Where the Suckers Moon, an account of advertising mishaps at Subaru.

PR Newswire is appointing Chalmers Fitzpatrick as its divisional vice president of business development. Fitzpatrick previously held several positions at RR Donnelley & Sons, and will be responsible for engaging clients and business development for PR Newswire's Vintage Filings, with a primary focus on the San Francisco area and Silicon Valley.
