BEST PRACTICES SERIES

Several companies are teaming up with the Royal Mail to issue the world's first interactive postage stamp. The Royal Mail`s Great British Railway Special Stamp issue will use the Royal Mail channel in the junaio augmented reality platform to provide online content through users' iPhones and Android smartphones. By pointing the phone`s camera onto the stamp in the junaio application, users will be shown online content related to the stamp`s theme, which includes the poem "Night Mail" as recited by British actor Bernard Cribbins.

RBIT Limited collaborated with m2end and metaio, junaio's developer, to make the application possible. The junaio application is available through Apple's iTunes store and the Android Market.
