Twitter has reportedly reached an agreement with investors to raise $15 million in funding at aproximately an $80 million pre-money valuation. Existing investor Uninion Square Ventures is participating along with an as-yet unspecified new investor. This round of investment should bring the company's total VC funding backing to just over $20 million. Twitter is a service designed to keep users "hyper-connected" to friends or collegues by always knowing what they are doing online.
