Times of India Joins ProQuest Archive

Mar 09, 2010

ProQuest's Historical Newspapers archive added The Times of India to its collection of newspaper archives. Billed as the largest daily English-language newspaper in the world, The Times of India was launched in 1838 and has a daily circulation of 3.14 million.

With the addition of the Times, ProQuest Historical Newspapers now boasts an archive of 29 newspapers, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Beginning in the mid-2010, subscribers will be able to view archives from The Times of India from its founding until 2001.

The addition of The Times of India to the archive coincides with the move to ProQuest's new unified platform, allowing The Times of India's content to be cross-searched and integrated within a library's entire ProQuest collection.
