Sirsi Corporation has announced that The Library Network (TLN), a consortium of 64 public libraries in suburban Detroit, Michigan, has selected the Sirsi suite of products in an effort to expand quality library services to the users of its member libraries. The Library Network is a public library cooperative, serving 2.8 million residents located throughout all or parts of Wayne, Washtenaw, Oakland, St. Clair, and Livingston counties. The state-funded cooperative provides services developed through the collaboration of its members.

TLN provides residents in 57 southeast Michigan communities with a shared catalog of library materials. Using the products offered by Sirsi, TLN plans to expand the Web catalog and electronic patron services already available to library users. The suite of Sirsi products includes the Unicorn Library Management System, iBistro e-library solution, DataStream enriched content, WorkFlowsR staff interface, Sirsi Voice Automation (SVA) for telephone-based end-user services, and other technology-related services.
