Techstreet, a division of Thomson Scientific, has announced upgrades to the Techstreet Web site. With the primary goal of helping customers find and obtain information faster, the Techstreet Web site includes new vertical industry stores, more options for browsing industry standards, and an updated graphical user interface. Future site enhancements are expected to include more new purchasing options for corporate customers seeking enterprise-wide solutions for their technical information needs. Techstreet currently offers a Web-based subscription service for custom sets of industry standards, as well as deposit accounts that are intended to reduce purchasing paperwork and simplify accounting procedures.

Thomson Scientific delivers patent, standards, scientific, and technical information. Its information solutions include ISI Web of Knowledge--offering navigation to multidisciplinary journal and Web content, evaluation tools, and bibliographic management products; Delphion Research--providing access to full-text patent documents from patent authorities, Derwent World Patents Index--a database of value-added patent documents, Techstreet--offering a variety of engineering codes and standards, plus information management resources, and the bibliographic management tools EndNote, ProCite, and Reference Manager.
