TRADOS Announces New Language Server for EMC Documentum ECM Platform

TRADOS Inc., a provider of information solutions, has announced the availability of its second-generation release of TRADOS Language Server for Documentum, a solution designed to tie together content globalization with EMC Documentum, a unified enterprise content management (ECM) platform. The integrated solution is intended to enable global companies who are already using EMC Documentum as their ECM platform to globalize their content within their existing business processes.

TRADOS Language Server is designed to deliver product content to more countries in a larger number of languages and tightly integrate with Documentum repositories and workflows. The TRADOS Language Server for Documentum solution empowers companies with capabilities such as the ability to retain control of content during the globalization process, from content creation to localization (using outsourcing) to publishing.

Features of the new TRADOS Language Server for Documentum include: Reference implementation of the globalization workflow based on Documentum applications, workflow, repository, and security models; Connectors that extend the globalization supply chain, from the corporation to language service provider to freelance translators; Localization tools that include translation editing and memory, terminology management, reporting, project management, and quality assurance; Open standards for exchanging tasks and data among all participants in the globalization process; and Web services and developer tools that facilitate rapid deployments and process integrations.
