Swets Signs Seven New Publishers

Swets Information Services has recently signed seven new publishers to SwetsWise Online Content. SwetsWise is a Web-based, modular service for the procurement, access and management of subscriptions and online information. SwetsWise now carries a total of 8,553 full text ejournals from 323 publishers. The new publishers are: Dove Medical Press, IFIS, New Statesman, Peeters Publishers BV, PNG Publications, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and World Tourism Organization.

Dove Medical Press is a new international publisher providing peer-reviewed journals to researchers, academics, clinicians, professionals, and organizations in the medical and scientific field. Dove Medical Press is offering three journals titled Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment, Therapeutics and Clinical Risk Management, and Vascular Health and Risk Management. Dove Medical Press journals are designed to comply with the requirements of the NLM for inclusion in Medline/Index Medicus. All three journals will now be available via SwetsWise Online Content.

IFIS Publishing is a UK-based, independent, non-profit organization that aims to provide user-driven, financially sustainable, information products and services to the international food science, food technology, and human nutrition community. IFIS' also offers a bibliographic database, FSTA - Food Science and Technology Abstracts with a collection of summaries (abstracts) prepared from the world's food science, food technology, and food-related human nutrition literature. The Food Science and Technology Bulletin is now available via SwetsWise Online Content.

The New Statesman was founded in 1913 with the aim of reaching the educated and influential classes with socialist ideas. The New Statesman Online went live in November 1998, with vote and comment facilities allowing people to discuss the issues considered in the magazine. Established in 1857, Peeters Publishers is an international publishing house based in Leuven, Belgium. Peeters publishes original scientific research, as well as bibliographical data, reviews, and reference material. Their major publication list contains books and journals on religious studies and theology, philosophy and ethics, classical studies, archaeology, history of art, medieval studies, oriental studies, studies on literature, and linguistics. PNG Publications seeks to improve the health status of the individual, family, and community. In its 28th year of publication, the American Journal of Health Behavior is a bimonthly professional journal and is now available via SwetsWise Online Content.

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists promotesthe study and advancement of the science and practice of obstetrics and gynaecology.
