Springer Expands Copyright Clearance Center Relationship

Mar 05, 2010

Springer advanced its relationship with the Copyright Clearance Center, a not-for-profit organization providing copyright licensing solutions for various forms of publishing. Under the expanded agreement, Springer will make greater implementation of the Center's Rightslink service on SpringerImages, the publisher's growing collection of nearly two million scientific images, including tables, charts, and graphics in numerous scientific disciplines.

Rightslink is a point of content licensing tool that gives rights holders the ability to license digital content directly to customers, conducting various forms of licensing transactions directly through a company's website without the need to involve third-party sites.
