Beginning in 2011, Springer and the Brazilian Physical Society (SBF) will collaborate to publish the society's official publication, the Brazilian Journal of Physics. The journal presents research on a variety of topics in physics, both from scientists based in Brazil and elsewhere in the world.
Founded in 1971, the Brazilian Journal of Physics is a peer-reviewed international journal that publishes new and original research results from all areas of physics. Contents include theoretical, practical, and experimental papers, as well as high-quality review papers. In addition to four regular issues per year, the journal also presents special reviews focusing on hot topics relevant in Brazil.
In addition to Springer's global dissemination via SpringerLink, the journal is currently distributed to more than 6,000 members of the SBF.
