SparkIP Adds University Listings

Dec 28, 2007

SparkIP, an online intellectual property (IP) network for the scientific community, announced its site now hosts more than 3,800 fully-searchable licensable technologies. The significant growth in the portfolio of available technologies is largely due to new partnerships with Stanford University, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), The Johns Hopkins University, and Tufts University. These institutions join previous launch partners Duke University, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, and EPFL of Switzerland in committing to promote and manage their licensable technologies at SparkIP's online marketplace. The 3,800 listings can be viewed in a traditional browse mode or within SparkIP's SparkClusterTM maps, which places new technologies in the context of a visual landscape of more than 40,000 self-organizing and self-naming clusters.
