ProQuest to Distribute ACM Journals

ProQuest Information and Learning will distribute nine journals published by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) to the library and education market. All nine full-text titles are new to electronic distribution. ProQuest Information and Learning, a unit of ProQuest Company, creates and publishes databases for libraries and educational institutions worldwide. ACM is an organization for computing professionals, delivering resources that advance the computing and IT disciplines, enable professional development, and promote policies and research that benefit society.

ACM Computing Surveys holds tutorials and survey papers covering the literature and explaining topics to those who seek to learn about areas outside their specialties. ACM Transactions on Computer Systems publishes new findings in the computing research field. Communications of the Association for Computing Machinery covers the computing field. Computers in Entertainment is an online quarterly covering developments in software, hardware, and business policies that improve existing mainstream entertainment and create new genres of entertainment. eLearn is a Web-only source for news, information, and opinion on online education and training. Interactions is a new magazine on applied human-computer interaction (HCI). Journal of the Association for Computing Machinery covers theoretical research in the core areas of computing. NetWorker delivers information on technologies and trends to its audience of practitioners, designers, business managers, and others plugged into the networking culture. ACM Queue analyzes trends in computing from an information professional's perspective.

The titles are available in the ABI/INFORM business database suite, including a five-year backfile of full-text content for each title. The content is available in full text, Text+Graphics, abstract and index, and PDF Image.
