Novell announced the availability of GroupWise 8, the cross-platform email and calendaring solution. This productivity solution offers support for Windows, Linux, Mac and the web. This release includes a customizable dashboard that allows users to interact with traditional tools such as email, calendar, contacts, and task lists as well as leverage Web 2.0-enabled team workspaces, blogs, RSS feeds, and applications. Enhancements include: interactive home view, support for hundreds of handheld devices, enhanced calendar, robust contact management, threaded discussions, and intuitive task management.
