iManage, Inc., a provider of collaborative content management software, has announced that Lloyd's of London's Members' Services Unit (MSU) will implement iManage WorkSite. MSU conducts the back-office administration for the insurance group's underwriting members. The group hopes to enable more effective business processes combined with the ability to easily access and collaborate on administrative processes. The current project calls for all of MSU's back-office functions to be electronically enabled with iManage WorkSite. For example, documents relating to the sale or transfer of share certificates are currently processed manually and then microfilmed--a process that uses over 5,600 staff hours per year. When the new iManage WorkSite system goes live, all documentation will be submitted electronically via a Web server to automate the process, enabling a majority of staff time to be used for more productive activities. The operating cost savings are expected to result from a reduction in administrative staff hours as well as high storage expenses. iManage partner In-Flow Limited is supporting MSU with the implementation of iManage WorkSite. In-Flow works with a range of companies to implement business flow systems that help reduce costs by automating repetitive administrative tasks. The MSU decision follows the successful iManage WorkSite roll-out at Lloyd's Members' Agency Service (LMAS), a registered members agent and subsidiary company of the Corporation of Lloyd's. LMAS handles all administration for around 7,000 resigned Lloyd's members.
