Knovel Announces K-Essentials Program

Knovel Corporation, a provider of Web-based information services for engineers, scientists, students, and librarians has announced the availability of a new program designed to help businesses, academic institutions, and government agencies make the transition to a virtual library. The new program, called K-Essentials, offers unlimited access to nine science and technical references free of charge through Knovel's Web-based platform. To gain access to the K-Essentials program, free subscription requests must be made through a librarian, information specialist, or departmental manager.

The nine interactive engineering and science reference titles that are part of the K-Essentials program are: Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization (MMPDS); Military Handbook - MIL-HDBK-5H: Metallic Materials and Elements for Aerospace Vehicle Structures; Engineering Problem Solving - A Classical Perspective; International Critical Tables of Numerical Data, Physics, Chemistry and Technology; Knovel Critical Tables Lite; Essential Practices for Managing Chemical Reactivity Hazards; Smithsonian Physical Tables (9th Revised Edition); Handbook of Mathematical Functions with Formulas, Graphs, and Mathematical Tables; and Dialogues Concerning Two New Sciences.
