Interwoven Extends ECM Platform with New Collaborative Document Management Solution Powered by iManage

Interwoven, Inc., a provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, has announced an alliance with iManage, a provider of collaborative content management software for enterprises, to deliver a fully integrated collaborative document management solution for the enterprise. The solution, "Interwoven Collaborative Document Management Solution (CDM) powered by iManage WorkSite MP," is designed to enable enterprises across industries to facilitate collaboration on projects and teams, resulting in increased process efficiency and higher quality in new product development, customer account management, and project management. The solution enables non-technical individuals to set up a "virtual" project workspace for teams, providing capabilities including: Collaboration--shared project folders, calendars, email discussion threads, task lists, and outstanding issues tracking; Document Management--ad-hoc and regimented document management according to established security protocols; and Reporting--reporting capabilities on projects, documents, and workflow status, with out-of-the-box report views. Interwoven expects the new offering, Interwoven CDM powered by iManage WorkSite MP, to be generally available by the end of Q1 2003. The new solution will be available worldwide and will be localized to English (US and England), French, and German. The system itself is Unicode-based and supports documents in any language format. The addition of this new CDM solution complements the existing Interwoven 5 platform which is comprised of Interwoven TeamSite content management software, Interwoven MetaTagger content intelligence software, and Interwoven OpenDeploy content distribution software.
