On Monday Google announced the ability to embed Google+ posts on websites, blogs, etc. Simply select the "Embed Post" option from a dropdown list, and then copy and paste the code. It's a familiar process. The posts should be fully interactive, according to Google, making it possible for readers to +1 a post.
In addition, Google unveiled its Author Attribution program, which allows users to tie the blog or other website to their Google+ profile. Currently the program is limited to Wordpress and Typepad. According to the Google blog post:
"With this association in place, we can look for ways to surface your info when it's most relevant. For example, today users may see your name, picture and/or a link to your Google+ profile when your content appears in Search, News and other Google products."
