The Financial Times announced a new Print and Digital Paid-for Circulation measure, which calculates the total number of people who access paid-for FT content through global print and digital channels on a daily basis. The metric will be released every quarter alongside the publication's traditional print circulation data.
The Financial Times also released its first set of results. Representing the period from May 31 to July 4, the metric showed that an average of 563,026 people per day paid for FT content. The metric includes data about the average daily newspaper sales, plus web and ereader subscriptions.
