Factiva Enhances SalesWorks

Factiva , a Dow Jones and Reuters Company, has announced further enhancements to its recently released Factiva SalesWorks and Factiva Companies & Executives offerings that are intended to help organizations to better manage and grow customer relationships, drive sales productivity, and boost revenue performance.

The release of Factiva Developer's Kit 3.0, Factiva's enhanced application programming interface, now allows the content and functionality available in Factiva SalesWorks and Factiva Companies & Executives to be integrated into the enterprise applications that salespeople, and business, marketing and information professionals use everyday. Such applications include sales force automation tools, customer relationship management systems (CRMs), third party or in-house portals, intranets and Microsoft Office 2003.

Factiva Developer's Kit is an application programming interface (API) that provides developers with application agnostic, platform independent, XML-based programmatic access to the majority of functionality and content available on the Factiva platform. It allows companies to develop customized applications with extensive personalization that integrates both Factiva's content and functionality into their business applications and end-users workflow, such as a CRM/SFA, Portal or Intranet.
