The not-for-profit DuraSpace organization and the Fedora Project announced the release of version 3.3 of the Fedora digital repository architecture. Fedora is an open-source architecture for the development of digital libraries and information repositories, featuring interoperable modules and object management. Newly added features include integration of the Fedora Enhanced Security Layer, improvements to the Fedora REST API, support for Microsoft SQL Server, improvements and enhancements to documentation, and support for HTTP proxy servers.
