Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC) announced that academic institutions using its Pay-Per-Use Services would be able to obtain reuse rights for entire books, including some that are commercially unavailable. CCC enables publishers to offer reuse rights for their books.

Universities can use and share content across many different disciplines using CCC's Pay-Per-Use Services, which offer them transparent rights licensing options. Pay-Per-Use Services provide users with permission to reproduce and distribute copyrighted content. The new enhancement makes it easier for academic institutions to acquire and license reuse rights for books.
