Centra Software, Inc., a provider of application software and services for real-time enterprise collaboration (RTEC), has announced that it has shipped Centra 7, application software designed to address corporate requirements for enterprise-wide adoption of real-time collaboration solutions. Deployed as both an on-site and ASP solution, Centra 7 includes three major enhancements: advanced integration with the user desktop, solutions that address an entire business process--before, during, and after the live collaboration session, and advanced systems architecture to support global enterprise deployments. Centra's ASP and hosted customers will be migrated to Centra 7 over the next few months, with availability for new accounts beginning in July. Centra 7 ships after a three-month beta program, which included more than 40 customers comprised of both on-premises and ASP implementations. Available immediately, components of the Centra 7 application and add-on modules can be licensed separately or together as a complete enterprise collaboration environment that can be installed on-site or accessed through Centra's secure ASP. Pricing starts at $80 per month per concurrent seat for a self-service meeting ASP subscription with an annual commitment. For on-premises installations, customers pay a single fee for flexible access to all Centra 7 real-time experiences starting at under $50,000 for up to 50 named seats.
