Amazon to Launch Real-Time Bidding Platform

Amazon is jumping into the advertising game. According to AdWeek, Amazon has built a real-time bidding platform that can be plugged into "exchanges and supply-side platforms, including Google's AdX and PubMatic."

The tool would allow advertisers to retarget Amazon's users all over the web. And couple with the massive amounts of data Amazon has on its users, AdWeek speculates that the platform could be a "game changer."
