Accessible Archives, Inc., a publisher of electronic full-text searchable historical databases, is supporting federated searching of its online content through agreements with Serials Solutions and Paratext. Federated search computer programs allow users to search multiple data sources with a single query from a single user interface. Serials Solutions, a global vendor of e-resource access and management services to libraries, provides access to this online content in a library context through their 360 Search federated search service. Paratext is producing finding aids and pointers to Accessible Archives' databases for inclusion in 19th Century Masterfile, a resource for exploring pre-1925 literature through over 65 specialized indexes to books, newspapers, patents, and government documents published during the late 19th and early 20th century.
