SearchTeria has announced plans to launch a cellphone advertising service based on a search engine on August 23. The service is designed to allow advertisers to send mobile phone users online ads depending on their online access patterns in terms of keyword searches and types of categories of the sites they visit. Ads will be placed on kool-i, K-tai news, and other partner Web sites. The service will be available through Web-based advertising agencies, such as Indy, Nikko-ad, and CyberAgent.
