Dir. of Product Marketing & Customer Acquisition

As the Director of Product Marketing and Customer Acquisition, you will lead all of the marketing efforts for Invu, a new product RealNetworks is launching. You will be responsible for marketing strategy, execution, and customer acquisition. You will work very closely with the product management and business development teams and help direct those efforts to ensure that we're doing everything possible to get people involved with this new service.
You live in the world of Vine, Instragram, Mashable, Reddit and Tumblr and understand how to create community around social media, streaming imagery, and integrated info-sharing. You have helped define and create a products and features that users love. You have created a robust community from the ground up around a media product or service and know all the pitfalls, tips and tricks for generating interest and buzz around an industry leading-edge product.
What you will own, build and be held accountable for:
Architect and manage the customer acquisition & marketing strategy for Invu
Create go to market plans for new releases and updates
Conceive and nurture a community of passionate users creating and viewing Invu content
Produce MRDs to document market requirements and help guide product development
Build Invu's brand as THE way to create and consume annotated media
Utilize data analytic's to guide marketing campaigns and product road-map
Execute on marketing campaigns
Lead and drive social media activity
Candidates Must Have:
•BA in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent
6+ years of direct to customer marketing experience
Experience guiding product features based on market requirements
Ability to show success in significantly growing a user base of a consumer service
Experience with Google Analytic's and proven record of using data to drive marketing decisions
Strong strategic thinking and analytic skills demonstrated by the inception and execution of robust marketing initiatives
Successful creation and execution of social marketing campaigns with exceptionally strong writing and communication skills
Experience as the voice of the product (tradeshow/keynote presentations) with significant writing and content development samples
Ideal Candidates Will Offer:
Industry experience with on-line video based software applications or media services.
