Job Description

Roles/Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities: The individual has the overall responsibilities for maintaining the daily workflow of the media research function of the organization. The Research Manager is responsible for coordinating and stewarding specific client research projects, producing reports and analyses on issues in media research and interfacing with the technical and engineering teams on development, Kantar OpCo integrations, design and stewardship of the Videolytics platform to meet the in-market demands.

Regular Tasks:
• Work closely with Account Management, Client Services, Business Development, Operations, and Technology teams to support clients and new development activities.
• Conducting testing plans with Kantar Video Vendors and Kantar Opcos to QA and analyze developed capabilities
• Working with third party vendors and Opco partners to synthesize disparate data sets
• Communicating with Platform management regarding platform, product/solution and client research needs
• Updating Kantar Glossary of Video Terms and FAQs to anticipate clients' question.
• Producing reports for clients and analyzing campaign data
• Reviewing bug fixes to ensure data issues had been fixed and data is of high quality for client consumption.
• Testing new research measures, UI and BI capabilities

Additional Tasks May Include:
• Developing templates to streamline reporting outputs.
• Working with Engineer and QA to coordinate duties and responsibilities to fix client-specific data issues.
• Handling integration calls with Kantar OpCos and other integration partners to discuss technological requirements necessary to integrate data into Videolytics.
• Helping UI/UX re-design Videolytics platform into an easy-to-use client-based measurement tool.
• Coordinating/working with consultant on producing specific client research projects.
• Work directly with Kantar Op-Cos in value proposition and technical meetings.
• Work with Platform Management to ensure all developments are on-time.
• Guide QA thru the bug triaging process to examine the platform for errors and data irregularities.
• Coordinate with marketing in producing research and sales materials.
• Define new metrics and new measurement capabilities.
• Participate in the identification and recruitment of partners and vendors to design and develop identified features and capabilities to fulfill business/research needs.
• Understand individual international markets and research requirements to anticipate questions and issues which may arise when Kantar Video launch internationally.

Major Ongoing Projects:
• Continue to work on key enhancements/developments for the platform based on vision and clients' feedback and learnings from our custom projects.
• Work with our external Research consultant to showcase the Videolytics as an industry-leading audience and content measurement platform through studies, white papers, industry meetings and conferences.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of Digital Media and Market Research in an agency, media or provider setting, pref with Online and/or Mobile Video, Digital Display, and/or TV experience.
• Undergraduate four-year degree, graduate study a plus.
• Prior knowledge of WPP/Kantar as a vendor, client or employee a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
• SPSS or SAS statistical modeling experience a plus.
• MS or MBA in math, social sciences or business a plus.
