BlackBerry is going old school, bringing "The Classic" to customers still pining for their old smartphone. It features a full QWERTY keyboard and other retro features like physical navigation keys, a small screen that makes it possible to use the keyboard in one hand, and is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm processor from 2012. It is paired with 2GB of RAM, and runs the BlackBerry 10 operating system.

The Search Agency, a leading global online marketing firm and the largest independent U.S. search marketing agency, released findings from the latest edition of its quarterly report, "The Mobile Experience Scorecard - Print News and Media" which found that none of the most visited print news and media sites scored were able to pass Google's recommended five-second load time threshold, however, 30% of the sites served Google-encouraged responsive web design (RWD) sites.

Smartling announced the results of a new survey that polled 160 U.S.-based, senior-level content marketers working for emerging brands to determine how they are marketing to multilingual audiences around the world. Nearly 63% of respondents acknowledge that between six and 50% of their customer base is located outside the U.S. Yet, survey data shows that translation budgets are nonexistent, forcing marketers to reach multilingual audiences using only English-language content.

According to data from Flurry, consumers now spend more time on their mobile devices than watching their televisions. With that in mind, Yahoo announced that in-app inventory from Flurry and its Marketplace are now available to Yahoo advertisers. The company unveiled a basic fitness band, not unlike the FitBit or Jawbone Up. At $1199 it will work with all major ecosystems, and Microsoft also released a platform called Microsoft health to accompany it.
