As vice president of marketing, Gavin Drake is responsible for Quark's demand generation, branding, corporate communications and product marketing worldwide. With 20+ years’ experience high-tech B2B marketing experience, Drake has worked with customers, media, channel partners and technology vendors driving adoption of new technology. He has served as a judge for various marketing and creative awards and is a regular speaker at industry events. Prior to Quark, Drake served in international marketing positions with a number of software companies marketing content management, XML and database publishing technology. Drake earned his Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Physics and Business Studies from De Montfort University in the UK, and is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, having attained their Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.
