Her 10-year-old company, Garvin Information Consulting, helps businesses, government agencies, and individuals develop competitive information skills for long-term efficiency. She draws on 20-plus years of diverse experience in commercial publishing, legal libraries, tech start-ups, and U.S. government information centres (such as the Congressional Research Service of the Library of Congress) to offer insight on government information organization, publishing, and trends. Recipient of the 2011 SLA Dow Jones Leadership Award, Peggy is the author of the forthcoming Government Information Management: International Perspectives, from Ashgate Publishing. She holds a Masters of Library Science degree from Syracuse University School of Information Studies.


CoreMedia, a eb content management company (WCM), announced the appointment of Patrick Kerrigan as VP of sales for North America. Kerrigan brings with him a wealth of WCM experience to CoreMedia, previously acting as the senior vice president of sales for North America at WCM company OpenText.
