ProQuest business Serials Solutions has named Paul Brennan as the company's Senior Director, Content Operations. As the Senior Director, Brennan will develop the vision and drive content operational excellence for Serials Solutions, a company which develops discovery solutions, data aggregation and analysis services.

Previously, Brennan was with Gracenote, an embedded technology company where he worked to improve content integrity.

Technology services company Channel Intelligence has announced two changes to its executive management positions. Rob Wight, founder and CEO, has been named Chairman of the Board. He will also serve as Chief Software Architect for the company and will be responsible for developing and enhancing the core CI platform.

Also, Doug Alexander, who had been on the CI board since 2006, will assume the duties of CEO.

The Financial Times has announced the appointment of Christina Scott as Chief Information Officer . As CIO, Scott will be responsible for technology across the FT Group and will be working closely with operational development and delivery staff.

Previous to working with the Financial Times, Scott had worked in the technology sector with a number of different companies including the BBC, Accenture and News International and ITV Digital.
