Wochit Inc. announced the appointment of Keith McAllister as CEO. McAllister brings more than 25 years of domestic and international experience in journalism, digital publishing, and content syndication. He is leading Wochit from its New York City corporate headquarters.

Klas Uden has been appointed vice president, digital and acquisition marketing for Hearst Magazines. Uden, a direct marketing veteran with a track record of planning and growing digital businesses, will start in the new role immediately and report to Liberta Abbondante, SVP of consumer marketing. Uden's role encompasses marketing and acquisition for print and e-edition subscriptions for Hearst Magazines' 20 U.S. brands.

Scope e-Knowledge Center (Scope), a provider of knowledge services, has announced the appointment of Deborah Harman as associate VP, business development. She will be responsible for building commercial relationships with publishers and other information providers in Europe, selling Scope's Content Enhancement Services and Data Services. In her new position, Deborah will report to Tram Venkatraman, president of Scope e-Knowledge Center.

engajer, Inc., an SaaS-based sales and marketing platform, announced that Richard Ferguson joined the team in mid-April as director of sales. Ferguson, who has tech sector business development experience, is focused on driving key sales, channel partnership and marketing initiatives as the company expands.
