Publishing Technology, a software provider to publishing companies, announced the appointments of two new customer strategists in the company's UK and US offices. Rebecca Cullen and Toby Plewak will be providing strategic consultancy and guidance for the future development and evolution of eachpub2web site, specialist sales support, and in-depth knowledge of the technology environment.

Previously, Cullen, who will work in the UK branch, worked with Oxford University Press in Oxford and New York. Plewak, who will work in the US branch, had worked for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the New England Journal of Medicine.

MultiLing, a translation services provider, announced that Lyle Ball has been appointed the company's COO. Prior to being named COO, Ball spent six months advising MultiLing on high-growth strategies related to its market shift to intellectual properties translations.

As COO, Ball will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction for large multi-national companies that require translation services for intellectual properties.

Mobile advertising and publishing platform company, Tapjoy, announced the appointment of Claire Hough as senior vice president of engineering. In this role, Hough will be responsible for leading the engineering and operations teams.

Previous to working at Tapjoy, Hough served as CTO for Citrus Lane and also served in senior-level positions with Nextag, Inc. for several years.
