MapQuest announced the hire of Hurricane Coast as program manager, in which capacity she will manage the company's $1 million open-source mapping investment fund. Coast will also work to encourage the U.S. to participate in living map initiatives. Coast has been a member of the State of the Map organizing committee for three years and has been involved with OSM since 2008.

Scrip appointed Christopher Bowe to the post of US Healthcare Analyst, as part of the expansion of its analyst team. Bowe has more than two decades of experience working in and commenting on the global pharmaceutical and biotech industries, most recently serving as Counselor, Strategic Affairs for Schering-Plough.

MuseGlobal appointed Rza Kazemipour as president of its new Enterprise division. Kazemipour has more than 18 years of experience in business leadership, having served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Clearstone Venture Partners, as well as executive management positions at Siderean, Fast Search & Transfer, Cerebra, and Selectica.
