thePlatform Unveils New Capabilities to Support Online Video Businesses

thePlatform is expanding its video publishing features to help customers enforce video business policies, content restrictions, and monetization models. The new features are built around the company's mpx Beta video management system, which was introduced earlier this year and is designed to make it easier to manage and monetize large content libraries.

mpx Beta now features new tools for creating and managing video feeds, advertising policies, and viewing restrictions for content such as TV shows and live events. Customers can restrict access based on country, region, city, and other geographic information. Access can also be restricted based on referring domain, IP address, and specific keys.

Users will also be able to set primary and secondary advertising providers for bumpers and various forms of in-content advertising, as well as select from a wide array of configuration options.
