BEST PRACTICES SERIES

eTouch has introduced SamePage 3.1, the latest version of its enterprise wiki solution and blog publishing tool. In this release, eTouch has fixed a few bugs from previous releases and added several new features. Some features include: enhanced group management, designed to enable user groups to assign project and page level permission designed to make user management more efficient. This release also includes support for nested groups within LDAP; read-only membership adds a new role to allow users to have read-only access to project content; the ability to create projects permission provides the ability to create projects that can be selectively granted to users or groups; advanced search to find relevant information by narrowing search criteria, scope, and selection; and an improved installer to speed up the installation process.

SamePage supports a number of advanced features including full-featured, blog capability, streamlined WYSIWYG editing, a smart toolbar that gives users access to commonly used functionality, project management, role-based permissioning, do-it-yourself administration, and support for clustering.
