ZeroDesktop integrated its cloud-based ZeroPC "transferable desktop" with a productivity suite equivalent to Microsoft Office developed by ThinkFree. The bundle gives ZeroPC users familiar tools to create, open, view, and edit word processing documents, spreadsheets and graphic presentations, including existing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, online. ZeroPC users do not need to pay any extra licensing fees for the ThinkFree office productivity tools and no additional software installations are required to access the suite.
Launching at the Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco, ZeroPC is designed to change the way that users share their digital content with friends and colleagues. ZeroPC requires no subscription fees-end-users simply pay-as-they-go for the amount of service needed- and also includes ThinkFree's Conversion Server, a Java component that converts Microsoft Office files into web-friendly formats so that their appearance is the same as when they were created offline.
