Xytech Systems, a workflow systems management developer, has teamed with DAX Solutions, Inc., a digital asset management solution provider, to offer an integrated solution to the entertainment and communications industries. To be launched at NAB in April, the newly integrated solution offered by the California-based companies is expected to incorporate complete physical and digital asset management, with workflow tools that will enable digital fulfillment, on-demand access to media libraries, and an online ordering system tied to a company's billing system, in addition to work orders and scheduling for product fulfillment.
Xytech's Enterprise system has been deployed at movie studios, television networks, postproduction, and corporate media organizations. The system provides job costing, billing, order processing, purchasing, rental management, inventory control, scheduling, and finance functions. A complete, fully integrated accounting system is available as part of the Enterprise suite.
