Workshare, Inc. announced the release of Workshare Point, enabling users to retrieve and file content to Microsoft SharePoint without closing other Microsoft Office applications.

With the Workshare Point software, users can access SharePoint from within Office and Outlook navigation interfaces. Using these more familiar and intuitive tools for managing documents and emails, organizations can reduce end-user training.

Workshare Point is customizable; users can change the interface based on a specific industry or department. Other features include a drag-and-drop functionality, suggestive filing of emails for quick retrieval, and access to FAST search functionality.
