ThingLink announced its interactive images and videos are now supported on WordPress.com. When users paste a ThingLink URL into the WP editor, WordPress.com automatically converts the link into an interactive media unit. ThingLink is also supported for WordPress.org users.

ThingLink empowers bloggers to create more engaging posts by adding an additional interactive layer to photos and videos. When a reader moves their mouse over image or video content, they can explore links with additional information, listen to songs, watch videos, or answer polls.

ThingLink says it multiplies the time spent on posts and allows readers to explore content from all over the web without leaving the blog.Australian Open enhances sports images with audio, video, Instagram photos and most recent tweets.
