WoodWing Announces Availability of Inception and Elvis for Content Cloud

Sep 17, 2015

Several months of public beta testing has culminated in WoodWing's release of its HTML5 authoring tool Inception. Available now, the Cloud-based tool is available to customers around the globe. Inception's article-based approach allows brands, publishers, and agencies to create compelling and responsive device-independent HTML5 content for any channel, including the Adobe Digital Publishing Solution 2015, Facebook Instant Articles, and Apple News, as well as WebCMS and print.

The tool has been tested by hundreds of beta users, and a number of customers--Qantas, TopGear, and The National Theatre in London--are already using the tool in production. Customers can get up to speed quickly by working with WoodWing´s Digital Services Division to create Inception styles and templates. Inception is one of the services provided through WoodWing's recently announced Content Cloud, a central hub for content management and creation.

Annual subscriptions start at $97 a month, which includes unlimited storage and bandwidth.

In other WoodWing news, the company also announced the deployment of its digital asset management solution Elvis DAM for Content Cloud as part of the WoodWing Content Cloud. The cloud-based version follows the core values of Elvis DAM, including ease of use, performance, scalability and expandability via APIs. The fully multitenant SaaS application is available in two editions, for content managers, and content consumers. The service includes unlimited storage and bandwidth. The Elvis multitenant back end is at the core of the WoodWing Content Cloud, managing all content across multiple applications. WoodWing continues to offer the on-premises version of Elvis 5, which also enables customers to configure private cloud-based digital asset management environments.
