EOS International has announced that Wiley Rein & Fielding, an international law firm, has selected Web-based EOS.Web for their library automation and knowledge management needs, to replace a system from SydneyPLUS. EOS.Web is designed as a scalable, modular, multi-site integrated library automation and knowledge management solution that can be installed as a local, in-house, Web-based solution running on an organization's intranet or extranet server. EOS International also hosts individual library EOS.Web installations at the EOS e-Library Service data center. Available EOS.Web modules include: Cataloging, Circulation, Serials, Acquisitions, OPAC, Z39.50, Indexer, and KnowledgeBuilder. EOS.Web is built on industry standards such as Microsoft .NET, SQL, XML, Z39.50, and features the Convera RetrievalWare search engine.
