Wiley InterScience Launches MARC Records for OnlineBooks

John Wiley & Sons, Inc., a global publisher, has announced that MARC records are now available for all titles in Wiley InterScience OnlineBooks, the company's online book platform. MARC, or Machine-Readable Cataloging, is a data format that allows computers to exchange, use, and interpret bibliographic information. MARC records are being offered free of charge to Wiley InterScience customers for their online book holdings and are provided in MARC 21 format. With the launch of the new sales model, backlist titles, and 100 new frontlist titles were added to Wiley InterScience.
