ScholarOne, Inc., a provider of Web-based workflow and content management solutions for scholarly publishers, has announced that John Wiley & Sons, Inc., is extending its current relationship with ScholarOne to license Manuscript Central for 400 peer-reviewed journals, reference works, and other publications. Wiley is a publisher for the scientific, technical, and medical communities. Wiley uses Manuscript Central to manage the acquisition, review, and tracking of scholarly manuscripts and to integrate these with a company-wide content management system and print and online publication processes. Wiley already uses Manuscript Central for more than 80 of its titles, and this new, five-year agreement extends a relationship that spans the previous three years.
