Wiley Extends Open Access Option to 81% of Journals

Jul 02, 2012

Research and scholarly publisher, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., announced its open access option for individual journal articles will be available to authors in 81% of the journals it publishes. By granting this open access format, the company says it will give authors the option to publish an open access paper in their journal of choice.

Wiley's online system, Wiley Open Access, will continue to provide peer-reviewed journals where all published articles can be read, downloaded or shared for free. The company believes this move will increase the amount of readers to Wiley Open Access.
