Wiley-Blackwell will partner with The Hastings Center to publish the Hastings Center Report, a journal that covers the bioethics field. Through the partnership, more libraries will be able to access the Hastings Center Report, which publishes essays, commentary, and research articles on the social and ethical issues raised by medical advancements. The Hastings Center Report has been self-published by The Hastings Center since 1970.
The Hastings Center is one of the world's first bioethics research institutions. The Hastings Center Report will be included in the Wiley-Blackwell Collection, which will give an additional 3,300 libraries access to the journal, and will also be distributed through the Wiley Online Library. Wiley-Blackwell is John Wiley & Sons, Inc.'s scientific, technical, medical, and scholarly (STMS) publishing business.
