WebWare Corporation, a digital asset management software company, has announced that systems integrator Ascertane will join the WebWare family of systems integrators for the WebWare ActiveMedia digital asset management software product line. Ascertane and WebWare will partner in deploying WebWare's ActiveMedia enterprise digital asset management solutions, including WebWare's ActiveMedia Enterprise, installed at clients such as Boeing, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Charles Schwab. The companies will also be implementing WebWare's new ActiveMedia Access DAM software: an enterprise-ready digital asset management system for under $50,000. Engineered for the enterprise but designed for the needs of the workgroup, ActiveMedia Access enables enterprise workgroups, creative agencies, video post-production facilities, and similar environments to create a digital library for rich media: key graphics, layouts, illustrations, slide presentations, and video. WebWare and Ascertane have worked together on projects including the installation and deployment of WebWare's ActiveMedia enterprise-wide digital asset management solution at Scripps Networks. The parent company for the Home & Garden Television (HGTV), Food Network, DIY (Do It Yourself) Network and Fine Living, Scripps uses ActiveMedia to manage its video-on-demand (VOD) digital repository.
