SirsiDynix, a provider of technology solutions for libraries, has announced the completion of its acquisition by Vista Equity Partners, a $1 billion private equity firm focused solely on investing in software and technology-enabled businesses. SirsiDynix announced on Dec. 27, 2006, that it had signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Vista. Under terms of the agreement, Vista becomes the sole institutional investor in SirsiDynix. Further financial details were not released.
