Vimio Announces Availability of JukeBox

Vimio, a provider of media distribution solutions and content to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), has announced the availability of JukeBox, an application to deliver Live TV, full track music, video, karaoke, ringtones, true tones, Java games, audio books, and other mobile content over 2.5G, EDGE, and 3G networks using one common platform.

Vimio JukeBox provides mobile operators, content providers, MVNOs, and mobile device manufactures with a single application to deliver content to consumers and speeding up downloads and enabling live TV services over both in GSM/GPRS and 3G networks. The Vimio JukeBox handles the delivery of music and videos and other mobile content to CDMA, GPRS, or 3G devices, where the end user can browse, search, and buy music or videos directly from a mobile device. This technology includes an advanced compression capabilities and a digital rights management (DRM) system to prevent unauthorized copying of copyright protected material. The system can also provide LiveTV, LiveRadio, and mobile surveillance where users can watch live video directly from a GPRS mobile device.
